'Dancing with the Stars': Charo Is Eliminated on Vegas Night. Is She Mad?

The Spanish entertainer is sent home
after completing her third dance with
Keo Motsepe, a bridal-themed foxtrot.
Another team was sent home on
April 3. But before that, the
remaining 11 pairs danced for the
third time to the theme of Vegas
Night. To match the theme, the
opening number featured showgirls,
magicians, Elvis impersonators, a
bachelorette party and blackjack.
Nick Viall and Peta Murgatroyd were
the first pair to dance, performing a
Tango. The judges noticed his
improvement and appreciated his
effort, but Bruno Tonioli pointed out
that he stomped too much. The
former " The Bachelor" star earned 26
out of 40 points.
Mr. T and Kym Johnson danced a
Foxtrot. As before, Mr. T delivered an
entertaining performance, but he
mostly just walked. Still, Len
Goodman appreciated that there was
actual Foxtrot content. The actor got
24 points.
Bonner Bolton and Sharna Burgess
danced a Charleston. Sharna had to
adjust the choreography because
Bonner's injury prevents him from
doing lifts and other tricks. Bruno
Tonioli said Bonner was off timing a
few times. The judges gave him 24
points.
Heather Morris , still joined by Alan
Bersten who fills in for Maksim
Chmerkovskiy, danced a Tango. Len
loved that there were "loads of
content of the Tango, plenty of
dancing and hold." Julianne Hough felt
Heather and Alan's connection while
they just teamed up last week. The
" Glee " alum earned 33 points.

Charo and Keo Motsepe danced a
Foxtrot. Wearing a baby blue, tulle
wedding-gown-looking costume, she
danced to "Chapel of Love" by The
Dixie Cups. Len said it lacked a bit in
technique, but it was made up for
being fun and entertaining. Carrie
Ann Inaba and Julianne praised Keo
for bringing this side of Charo. The
Spanish entertainer earned 24 points.
Simone Biles and her partner Sasha
Farber danced an energetic
Quickstep. Technically, the judges had
nothing to complain about, but they
urged her to focus more on the
emotion. The Olympic gymnast
earned 32 points.

Sasha ' s Quickstep - Dancing with the Stars
Nancy Kerrigan and Artem Chigvintsev
followed it up with another great
performance, dancing a Samba. Len
already dubbed it the best dance so
far this season, while Julianne called
it the best Samba she's ever seen on
the show. Nancy earned 33 points.

David Ross and Lindsay Arnold tried
to ooze sexiness with their " Magic
Mike "-themed Jazz. He did striptease
with the male troupe and the judges
appreciated it that he was fully
committed to this. Len said it was
"fun," "entertaining" and "terrific."
David earned 31 points.
nd Lindsay ’ s Jazz - Dancing with the Stars
Erika Jayne and Gleb Savchenko were
up next, dancing a Jive with circus
theme. Len thought there were many
tricks, but not enough Jive. Julianne
liked her legs, but noticed that she got
wobbly several times. " The Real
Housewives of Beverly Hills " star
earned 26 points.
Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater
danced a Samba. Len felt that he's "a
little bit flat-footed." Bruno also
criticized his foot, while Carrie Ann
thought he would do better if he could
"get more comfortable in the technical
moves." Rashad earned 28 points.
Last but not least were Normani
Kordei and Valentin Chmerkovskiy,
who danced a Foxtrot. Bruno said it
was the best dance of the night. Len
wanted to see more in hold, but said
that the number made him smile.
Julianne likened the performance to a
number on Broadway. The Fifth
Harmony singer got 34 points.

Next it was time for elimination.
Charo & Keo and Nick & Peta were in
jeopardy. After surviving the
chopping block last week, Charo was
eventually cut this week. As said by
host Erin Andrews, Charo had made up
with Bruno following their verbal
feud last week. She, however, jokingly
said, "Bruno, I'll see you at the
parking lot." She also said that she
had a good time on the show, before
quickly rushing off stage.
